Mark Huxley Managing Risks while building a business.
Mark brings over 40 years of working within the insurance community and more latterly in the wider financial services sector has provided him with many adventures.
These began with Mark working within the globally iconic Lloyd's insurance market managing claims across all classes of non-marine (re)insurance, where he handled some eye wateringly large matters!
His first foray into business ownership was founding one of the UK's pioneering outsourced claims management companies in the 1990s. Building it from scratch to scale and with a well-earned reputation as a business builder he went on to found a full service specialist marketing and consultancy agency working within the insurance and financial services sectors. This too grew to become sector leading and spawned many new businesses, including content marketing, PR and primary research.
Having divested his interests in them in 2017 he has more recently harnessed the skills and experiences acquired from his long working life and launched consultancies to directly help businesses and the people within them maximise their capabilities. This is delivered via a blend of personal mentoring and wider business advisory/consultancy, helping them to grow while managing their risks.
He is as a Freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs and serves upon numerous committees and Special Interest Groups, often as Chair giving back and delivering value to the financial services sector.

I have named this product after a friend of mine who I believe could have been helped by this app and a % of the profits will go to the hospice in Clapham that cared for her.

Outset Studio are now looking to raise funding to grow the studio, facilities and capabilities to move into the next phase of their growth and attract bigger clients and more complex work and larger projects.

Imperium Risk "Operational risk is an ever increasing concern for financial services business executives particularly with new regulations such as SM&CR (placing more personal accountability on executives). Operational incidents and fines are still extremely high having huge financial and reputational impact.
